People in Focus Showcases Innovative Projects at Future2Tech Fair 2025 in Tirana

Tirana, 2–3 October 2025 — People in Focus had the pleasure of participating in the Future2Tech Fair 2025, held at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana. This marked the organization’s second consecutive year at this major national event dedicated to technology, innovation, and digital transformation.

The fair brought together a diverse audience of professionals, educators, start-ups, public institutions, and students, all exploring how emerging technologies are shaping the future of education, vocational training, and social inclusion.

Showcasing Two Cutting-Edge European Projects

This year, People in Focus presented two innovative EU-funded initiatives that embody its commitment to advancing digital education, skills development, and cultural preservation:

  • Virtual Reality VET (VRinVET)
  • LiP3D (Living forever the Past through a 3Digital world)

Virtual Reality VET — Transforming Vocational Education

The Virtual Reality VET project introduces VR technology into vocational education and training (VET), creating immersive and interactive learning environments that bridge the gap between theory and practice.

Through customized VR simulations, students and trainees can safely experience real-world scenarios — from technical operations and mechanical tasks to workplace safety procedures — all within a controlled virtual space.

The project also supports teachers and trainers with innovative digital methodologies and tools, helping to increase engagement and improve the quality of vocational training.

LiP3D — Bringing History to Life

Meanwhile, the LiP3D project combines archaeology, 3D modeling, and immersive media to digitally reconstruct and preserve European cultural heritage sites. Its goal is to make historical and archaeological knowledge more accessible and engaging for both experts and the public.

At the People in Focus stand, visitors had the chance to explore six reconstructed archaeological sites through VR headsets, including:

  • Iuvanum (Italy)
  • Novae (Bulgaria)
  • Apollonia (Albania)
  • Rivellino del Porto, Chania (Greece)
  • Amathus (Cyprus)
  • Sarmizegetusa (Romania)

These 3D virtual tours allowed participants to explore ancient environments and interact with digitally recreated heritage — bringing history to life in a vivid, educational way.

Inspiring Collaboration and Digital Transformation

Throughout the two-day fair, People in Focus representatives engaged with visitors, educators, students, and technology enthusiasts, sharing insights on how tools like VR, 3D modeling, and simulation are transforming both education and cultural heritage preservation.

The interactive demonstrations attracted significant attention, showcasing how digital innovation can enhance creativity, improve learning outcomes, and promote inclusive access to knowledge and skills.

Participation in Future2Tech 2025 also offered valuable opportunities to strengthen partnerships, exchange best practices, and foster collaboration among organizations, educational institutions, and innovators — all working toward a more connected, digitally empowered, and inclusive future.h valuable opportunities to strengthen partnerships, exchange best practices, and promote collaboration among organizations, educational institutions, and innovators working toward a more connected, digitally empowered, and inclusive future.
