Objectives:
- Foster 60 youths’ ability to participate in democratic life. This will be done by developing modules aiming at i) building knowledge on the EU values and functioning and ii) raising awareness on inclusion and diversity issues (3 modules: one on gender equality, one on migration and integration, and one on disability and other forms of socio-economic vulnerabilities and inclusion).
- Enabling 60 youths to take action toward politicians and public policy makers through i) the co-elaboration of an evaluation grid aiming at assessing the political programmes of candidates to the European Parliament, and ii) organizing one national event in each country to promote dialogue with politicians and other stakeholders (200 participants in total).
- Favor good practices to achieve inclusive and intersectional youth citizenship across Europe through dissemination and communication activities.
Expected results :
- Empower youth workers with the right tools to make possible the transfer of knowledge to their community.
- Increase young people’s motivation to take part in different initiatives and set an example to their peers in dealing with these issues.
- Change of behavior towards youth activism in decision-making processes and develop new skills to take actions at a local, national, and international level.
- Build youth organisations capacity to deliver quality non-formal education programmes that strengthen young people’s activism.
Duration: 24 months 2023 – 2025
