"People in Focus" is an independent, non-governmental, non-political organization created in 2014. Our goal is to play a particularly important role as a promoter and instigator, to create political and social spaces for cooperation, based on values such as faith, service and the general good. "The main cause of our work is to increase citizens' awareness of the way services are provided to them, as well as their involvement in analysis, monitoring and evaluation at the local level and in the judicial system. We demand that the citizens themselves act on the issues that affect their lives. By advocating for the change of existing practices, we want to become a reliable intermediary of citizens to the relevant institutions for small changes but with a big impact by improving services, increasing accountability and reducing opportunities for corruption, thus improving the lives of citizens"

Our aspiration is to voice the concerns of citizens, increase the accountability and responsibility of institutions, foster a sense of community, address unmet needs, and as a result, achieve increased well-being. Society will always need independent organizations and individuals who act as watchdogs, ethical guardians and advocates of marginalized people. Civil society, in all its forms, has an important role in increasing social accountability at the highest levels. We aim to extend our influence to poor and remote areas, to identify their local needs, to promote participation. Utilizing their human resources, we can raise awareness about the concepts of responsibility and accountability.
